Skim Coating

Skim coating will smooth and/or repair walls, and involves applying a layer of a muddy plaster compound to damaged surfaces. The technique is used to fix cross-hatching on wallpaper, and repair scratches, holes, and water damaged portions on drywall. This is often necessary for older walls that require new paint coatings
